Pearl Eileen Scott

Pearl Eileen Scott, 84, of Chillicothe, passed from this life Monday evening, Apr. 23, 2007 in the Chillicothe Nursing and Rehabilitation Center following an extended illness. She was born Sept. 26, 1922 in Vinton County, the daughter of Oscar C. Seitz, Sr. and Olive Eleanor (Hoselton) Seitz. Her former husband, Walter L. Zonner preceded her in death. On Sept. 11, 1971 she married Kelly Scott, who preceded her in death in 1994. Surviving is a son and daughter-in-law, Ronald L. and Linda Zonner, Frankfort, grandchildren, Lara Hauswirth and Leah Seymour, 2 step-sons, a sister, Kay Ann Carey, CA, step-brothers, Don R. Newlun, Chillicothe and Robert Newlun, NY and several nieces and nephews. Her parents, her step-mother, Mildred Newlun, 2 sisters, a brother, a step-sister and a step-brother preceded her in death. Mrs. Scott was a retired employee of Mead Paper with 32 years of service. She attended High St. Church of Christ in Christian Union. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Friday, Apr. 27, 2007 in the Fawcett Oliver Glass and Palmer Funeral Home with Rev. Jack Norman officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6:00 to 8:00 pm on Thursday. Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of choice.
