Pauline I. Clifton

Pauline I. Clifton, 102, of Chillicothe, passed from this life on Wednesday evening, Aug. 11, 2010 in Westmoreland Place following an extended illness. She was born Dec. 10, 1907 in Ross County, the daughter of the late William F. and Anna (Kuntzman) Nolze. In 1944 she married Amos P. Clifton who preceded her in death in 1964. Surviving is a niece, Carolyn and husband, Dave Hice, Chillicothe, great nieces, Jennifer Foreman and Sarah Hice and a great nephew, Brandon McAnulty. 4 sisters and a brother preceded her in death. Mrs. Clifton was a retired employee of U.S. Shoe Corporation and was a former member of Salem Community Church. Graveside funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Saturday, August 14, 2010 in Browns Chapel Cemetery, Clarksburg with Rev. Brent Rolsten officiating. Calling hours will not be observed. The arrangements have been entrusted to the FAWCETT OLIVER GLASS AND PALMER FUNERAL HOME. Memorial contributions may be made to the Hospice of Adena Health System.
