Patricia L. Elliott, 81, of Chillicothe, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, March 24, 2026. She was born on May 16, 1944, in Chillicothe, the daughter of James L. and Cora (Diehl) Schobelock. On February 7, 1961, she married Fred Elliott, who preceded her in death on October 2, 1994.

Surviving are her son, Greg (Paula) Elliott of Chillicothe; a daughter, Leslee Elliott-Sowers (Kathy Wiedeman) of Dayton; a son-in-law, Dean Hughes; grandchildren, Ben Hughes (Jessyca Simmons), Erin (Terrence) Bagley, Michael (Dawn) Elliott, Nathaniel Elliott, and Logan Sowers; 11 great-grandchildren; sisters, Karen Darby, Jennifer Hines, Judy (Bob) Harmon, and Pam (Marvin) Coppock; sister-in-law, Donna Schobelock; a brother, Randy (Vicki) Schobelock; and many nieces, nephews, and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Natalie Hughes; and brothers, James, Jack, Richard, and Clifford Schobelock.

Pat loved kids, having worked as a teacher at Landmark Christian Academy and taught Sunday school for many years. She loved to sing, having been on the Praise Team at church as well as singing for the residents at the apartments where she lived. She also enjoyed gardening, tending to her plants and flowers. Pat was known for her unwavering faith and devotion, and will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, and sister.

Pat was an attendee of the First Church of Chillicothe, where a memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, March 31, 2026, with Pastor Aaron Hines officiating. The family will receive friends at the church from 10:30 a.m. until the hour of service on Tuesday. A private burial will be held at the discretion of the family.
