Patricia Mae Dunlap

Patricia Mae Dunlap, 73, of Chillicothe, passed from this life early Monday morning, Mar. 31, 2008 following a brief illness. She was born July 13, 1934 in Ross County, the daughter of Granville and Ruby (Borland) McCoppin. On June 8, 1952 she married David Nelson Dunlap who preceded her in death Mar. 22, 1981. Surviving is her daughter, Terry Dunlap (John Penrod), her son, David (Sandy) Dunlap, all of Chillicothe, grandchildren, Abby Dunlap and Jacob (Liza) Dunlap, step-grandchildren, Halston and Kazz Hall and Torre Hatfield, great grandchildren, Julia and Jak Dunlap, a sister, Esther (Ed) Bergeron, Chillicothe and many nieces and nephews. Her parents and a sister, Juanita Reese preceded her in death. Mrs. Dunlap was an an active volunteer in the community, serving the American Heart Association, the March of Dimes and the American Cancer Society. She was a member of Eastern Star Chapter 419 and was an avid supporter of Unioto Schools. She will be remembered as a wonderful wife, mother, neighbor and friend. Graveside funeral services will be held at 10:30 am Wednesday, Apr. 2, 2008 in Grandview Cemetery with Rev. Dan Zickafoose officiating. Calling hours will not be observed. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a charity of choice. The Fawcett Oliver Glass and Palmer Funeral Home is serving the family.
