Norma Jean Booth

August 13, 1923 — February 16, 2008

Norma Jean Booth, 84, of Chillicothe, unexpectedly passed from this life on Saturday evening, Feb. 16, 2008 at her residence. She was born Aug. 13, 1923 in Chillicothe, the daughter of the late Charles and Bessie (Jones) Christian. Surviving is her beloved daughter, Kathy Diane May, Chillicothe, grandchildren, Angel M (Paul E.) Francis, Yonkers, NY and Phillip R. (Liz Karr) May, Ashville, and a sister, Helen Sasarak, Chillicothe. Her parents, sisters, Lovetta "Betty" Bunch and Juanita James and a brother, Charles "Todd" Christian, Jr. preceded her in death. Mrs. Booth was an employee of Mead Paper, working in the Mead Hospital and Safety Office. She retired in 1982 after 38 years of service. She was a member of Beta Sigma Phi and the mead Retiree's Club. In following her request for cremation, there will be no calling hours or services. Private interment will be at the discretion of the family. Memorial contributions may be made to Adena Health System and the American Heart Association. The Fawcett Oliver Glass and Palmer Funeral Home is serving the family. "I'll be seeing you in every lovely summer day In everything that's bright and gay I'll always think of you that way.
