Nonna Jean Johnson
March 7, 1944 — January 28, 2016
Nonna Jean Johnson, 71 of Chillicothe peacefully passed from this life on Thursday morning, January 28, 2016 at her home. She was born March 7, 1944 in Chillicothe, the daughter of the late Daniel and Eva (Baker) Vickers.
Surviving are her daughters, Pam (Tim) Ault, Dublin and Sandy (Jeff) McCambridge, Waverly; her son, Wendell E. Johnson, Chillicothe; her grandchildren, Jason (Nikki) and Kimberly Ault, Patricia, Jeffrey and Rachel McCambridge and John Walker Johnson; her great-grandchildren, Hayley and Ally Ault; her brothers, Kermit (Shirley) Vickers, Chillicothe and Danny Vickers. Her parents preceded her in death.
Mrs. Johnson was a member of Brookside Church of Christ in Christian Union. She will be remembered as a loving and devoted mother, grandmother and a friend to many.
The family wishes to especially thank Adena Hospice and Brookside Church for all of their support. Special thanks to Kelsey Cool for being a wonderful friend and caregiver and to caregivers Marilyn Spindler and Shirley Mankin.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am on Tuesday, February 2, 2016 in the FAWCETT OLIVER GLASS AND PALMER FUNERAL HOME with Revs. Jack Norman and Kevin Green officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00 to 7:00 pm on Monday.
