Myrtle L. Ramsey

Myrtle L. Ramsey, 83, of Chillicothe, passed from this life Tuesday evening, July 28, 2009 at her residence. She was born Aug. 29, 1925 in Columbus, OH, the daughter of Pearl A. and Laurel D. (Strawderman) McCutchen. On May 11, 1947 she married Amos O. Ramsey who survives. Also surviving are daughters, Myrtle "Marlene" Ramsey, Brenda (Les) Wolfe, Deana (Fred) Woodruff, Diana (Marion) Moss, sons, Keith (Yvonne) Ramsey and Gregory Ramsey and his life partner, Brad Smith, all of Chillicothe, 8 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren and a nephew, Roger (Donna) Ford, GA. Her parents and a sister, Lillian preceded her in death. Mrs. Ramsey was a former employee of Mead Paper. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother and will be missed by all who knew her. Graveside funeral services will be held at 1:30 pm Friday, July 31, 2009 in Floral Hills Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends at the Fawcett Oliver Glass and Palmer Funeral Home from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm.
