Mollie Schobelock

Mollie Schobelock, 71, of Chillicothe, passed from this life Saturday afternoon, Dec. 4, 2010 in the Adena Regional Medical Center following an extended illness. She was born Nov. 29, 1939 in Millard, KY, the daughter of Preston and Lou (Thacker) Bevins. On June 28, 1975 she married Robert D. Schobelock who survives. Also surviving is a daughter, Sue Duffy, Dayton, OH, a step-daughter, Teresa (John C.) Wood, Chillicothe, sons, Eddie (Zella) Bevins, Kingston, Bill Bevins, Tim (Rayna) Bevins, Todd (Dusty) Schobelock and Sean Schobelock, all of Chillicothe, a step-son, Mark (Becky) Schobelock, , Florence, KY, 14 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, sisters, Frances Asbury, Elkhart, IN, Vicey Turner, Portsmouth, OH and Jean Brown, Dayton, OH, brothers, George (Bertie) Bevins, Pikeville, KY and Claude (Joyce) Bevins, Chicago, IL and a host of nieces and nephews. Her parents, an infant son, Tracy, brothers, Philip, Stevie, Nate, Ernie and Floyd Bevins and a step-brother, Bill Bevins preceded her in death. Mrs. Schobelock was a retired nursing assistant. She attended the First Church of God and enjoyed music and sewing. She was a devoted wife and mother and was an avid sports fan, supporting her children. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm Thursday, Dec. 9, 2010 in the FAWCETT OLIVER GLASS AND PALMER FUNERAL HOME with Brother Bob Rose officiating. Burial will follow in Floral Hills Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00 to 7:00 pm on Wednesday.
