Minnie T. Cox

Minnie T. Cox, 71, of Chillicothe, passed from this life Thursday morning, July 10, 2008 in Adena Regional Medical Center following an extended illness. She was born Apr. 6, 1937 in Marion, Ohio, the daughter of Luther and Bessie (Fairchild) Gleason. On Dec. 10, 1955 she married Glen M. Cox, Sr. who survives and together they shared 52 years together. Surviving is a son and daughter-in-law, Glen M. "Marty" and Cynthia Cox, Chillicothe, grandchildren, Ashley (J.R.) Badger and Ryan M. (Stephanie) Cox, all of Chillicothe, great grandchildren, Cameron Badger and Avery Cox, step-great grandchildren, Olivia and Jayonna Badger, sisters, Mary (Bob) Dyer, Shirley (David) Conley, Lynda Massie, Susan Ackley, all of Chillicothe and Connie (Jessie) Ayers, Lake Wales, FL and a brother, David (Betty) Gleason, Chillicothe. Her parents, sisters, Louise and Laverne and brothers, Clyde and Paul preceded her in death. Mrs. Cox was an employee of U.S. Shoe, retiring with more than 22 year of service. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She was a member of the Chillicothe Baptist Church where funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Tuesday, July 15, 2008 with Pastor John Burris officiating. Burial will follow in Londonderry Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the Fawcett Oliver Glass and Palmer Funeral Home from 6:00 to 8:00 pm on Monday
