Mildred A. Kinnamon

Mildred Alice Kinnamon, 86, of Frankfort , passed from this life early Thursday morning, April 12, 2012 in the Chillicothe Nursing and Rehabilitation Center . She was born May 12, 1925 in Ross County , the daughter of David and Dora (Hurley) Yoakum. On Sept. 27, 1941 she married Delbert W. Kinnamon who preceded her in death on Jan. 10, 2011 .

Surviving are her sons, Roger and wife, Daisy Kinnamon, Frankfort and Michael and wife, Vicki Kinnamon, Chillicothe; daughters-in-law, Ronda Kinnamon and Kit Kinnamon, both of Chillicothe; grandchildren, Lora Raines, David, Jason, Amanda, Brandon, Matthew, Casey and Courtney Kinnamon and Holly Kinnamon Stevens; great-grandchildren, Sarah Littler, Betsy Rains, Audrey and Austin Kinnamon, Henry Graham and Ella Stevens; great-great-grandchildren, Kyla and Drake Littler and Bailey Blevins; and sisters, Emmaline Wood, Springboro, OH and Marilyn Baronoski, Dundee, MI.

She was preceded in death by her parents, sons, Robert and Jack Kinnamon; a grandson, John Kinnamon; brothers, Dwight, Theodore, Earl and Donald; and sisters, Opal, Esther and Grace.

Mrs. Kinnamon had been an employee of U.S. Shoe and had attended First Presbyterian Church. She was a devoted wife and mother, raising her 4 sons. Mildred enjoyed playing euchre and bingo and loved her cats. She lived her life on the family farm and enjoyed working in her flower garden.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm on Monday, April 16, 2012 in the FAWCETT OLIVER GLASS AND PALMER FUNERAL HOME with Rev. Sammy Cooper officiating. Burial will follow in Twin Township Cemetery . The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 11:00 am until the hour of service on Monday.
