Mildred Opal Dearth, 79, of Chillicothe, passed from this life on Friday morning, July 3, 2015 in Westmoreland Place following an extended illness. She was born May 11, 1936 in Kingston, Ohio, the daughter of Richard and Mary (Young) Chaffin. She was married in 1979 to Charles A. Dearth who preceded her in death in 1998.
Her parents, her former husband, George E. Kramer, 3 sisters and 4 brothers preceded her in death.
Surviving are daughters, Bonnie Manson and Connie (Eugene) Smith; a son, George “Mike” Kramer, all of Chillicothe; grandchildren, Angela Hopper, Joseph Manson and Heidi Kramer; great-grandchildren, Joseph, Veronica, Jaclyn, Geoff, McKayla and Brenlee; 2 great-great-grandchildren; and sisters, Ella Mae Williamson, Naples, Florida and Norma (Ernest) Lowery, Chillicothe.
Mrs. Dearth was a loving and devoted mother and grandmother. She enjoyed music, especially karaoke and the guitar, and loved her Pomeranian dogs.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm on Wednesday, July 8, 2015 in the FAWCETT OLIVER GLASS AND PALMER FUNERAL HOME with Rev. Mark Clendaniel officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 11:00 am until the hour of service on Wednesday.
