Michael Scott Baker

Michael Scott Baker, 65, of Chillicothe, unexpectedly passed from this life on March 28, 2024 at his residence.  He was born on November 13, 1958 in Chillicothe, the son of Gene Baker and Sharon (Haley) Baker.

Surviving is his daughter, Nikki Baker, CA; mother, Sharon Merchant, Chillicothe; grandchildren, Cole Stamper and Makynzie Juarez, sister, Julie (John) Gabriel, Cincinnati; brother, Chistopher (Desili) Baker, Batavia; and several nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his father, sister, Karen Baker, grandmother, Louise Haley, and uncle, Tom Haley.

Scott had worked as a computer programmer.  He was known for his love of music and could play the guitar like a riot.

A private graveside service will be held at the discretion of the family.
