Melissa Anne Peters

Melissa Anne Peters, 61, of Chillicothe, formerly of Londonderry, passed from this life on Wednesday morning, January 1, 2014 in the Chillicothe Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center.  She was born July 12, 1952 in Chillicothe, the daughter of John William and Gracie Mae (Tillis) Peters.

Surviving is her sister, Lorna Overly (Tom Colvin), Chillicothe; brothers, John W. (Shella) Peters, Frankfort, William “Mac”(Pam) Peters, Chillicothe, her twin, Robert E. (Debbie) Peters, Londonderry, George “Scott” Peters, Richmond Dale and Charles “Boo” Peters, Chillicothe and a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.  Her parents preceded her in death.

Melissa was a member of the Bridge Street Church of Christ.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Saturday, January 4, 2014 in the FAWCETT OLIVER GLASS AND PALMER FUNERAL HOME with Rev. Edwin Lewis officiating.  Burial will follow in Londonderry Cemetery.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 12:00 noon until the hour of service on Saturday.  Memorial contributions in Melissa’s memory may be made to the Pioneer School, 11268 County Road 550, Chillicothe, Ohio 45601.
