Maxine F. Richardson

Maxine F. Richardson, 94, of Chillicothe, passed from this life on Wednesday, January 8, 2014 in Westmoreland Place following an extended illness.  She was born December 27, 1919 in Mason County, West Virginia, the daughter of William F. and Mary (Martin) Jacobs.  On May 23, 1941 she married Floyd Richardson who preceded her in death in 1965.

Surviving is her son, William “Bill” Richardson, Chillicothe; her extended family, Cheri Callam and family, Glenda Gibson and family, Tracy and Rita Riffle and family, Eric Riffle and family, Julie Riffle and family, David Riffle and Natalie Beale.  She was preceded in death by her parents, sisters, Roma and Edeth Jacobs, Edith Weinrich and Clara Ely, half-brothers, Oaky and Eugene Masor, a niece, Jean Riffle and a nephew, Glenn Callam.

Mrs. Richardson was a retired employee of U.S. Shoe Corporation with 40 years of service.  She was an avid Cincinnati Reds and OSU fan.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, January 13, 2014 in Greenlawn Cemetery with Chaplin Kevin Greene officiating.  Calling hours will not be observed.  The FAWCETT OLIVER GLASS AND PALMER FUNERAL HOME is serving the family.  Memorial contributions may be made to Adena Hospice, 111.
