Maurice L. Kight, 73, of Chillicothe, passed from this life Tuesday evening, July 13, 2010 in Westmoreland Place following an extended illness. He was born Oct. 1, 1936 in Ross County, the son of Oscar D. and Mildred L. Kight. Surviving are daughters, Darla Ramsey and Diana (Eugene) Strausbaugh, sons, David (Linda) Kight and Duane (Linda) Kight, all of Chillicothe, grandchildren, Jeremiah (Melanie) Ramsey, Jacob Collins, Jake Strausbaugh and Shasta (James) Lewis and 5 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents. Mr. Kight was an employee of Mead Paper with 37 years service, retiring in 1991. He was a member of Local 731 and the Fraternal Order of Eagles, Aerie 600. Graveside funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Saturday, July 17, 2010 in Fairmont Cemetery, Jackson, OH with Rev. Anthony Pelfrey officiating. Calling hours will not be observed. Arrangements are under the direction of the FAWCETT OLIVER GLASS AND PALMER FUNERAL HOME.
