Mary E. (Strawser) Jones

Mary E. Jones, 93, of Chillicothe, passed from this life early Friday morning, March 15, 2013 in Logan Elm Health Care Center, Circleville following an extended illness. She was born July 9, 1919 in Ross County, the daughter of John and Wyoma (Southward) Strawser. On October 14, 1939 she married Russell F. Jones who preceded her in death on June 29, 1971.
Surviving are her daughters, Lucille E. (Harold) Frey, Chillicothe and Marcella M. (Gary) Pairan, Circleville; grandchildren, Roger (Theresa) Jones, Dale (Jodi) Jones, Brian Frey, Cheryl (Michael) Smolak, Russell (Sue) Pairan, Harold Frey, Jr. and Kim Frey; 12 great-grandchildren; 5 great-great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Her parents, sisters, Anna Dearth and Odessa Hatfield and brothers, John , James, Phillip and Clarence Strawser preceded her in death.
Mrs. Jones was a homemaker. She was a devoted mother and grandmother.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm on Monday, March 18, 2013 in the FAWCETT OLIVER GLASS AND PALMER FUNERAL HOME with Rev. Dave Garrett officiating. Burial will follow in Floral Hills memory Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 12:00 noon until the hour of service on Monday.
