Mary Louise (Stoops) Fink

Mary Louise Fink, 86 of Chillicothe passed from this life on Sunday, Nov. 17, 2019 in Adena Regional Medical Center following an extended illness.  She was born Oct. 15, 1933 in Fayette County, the daughter of John Wesley Stoops and Jeannie (Pierson) Stoops.  On Nov. 5, 1949 she married Amos Glen Fink who preceded her in death in 1983.

Surviving is her son, Richard Eugene (Cecelia) Fink, Cincinnati; 4 grandchildren; 2 step-grandchildren; several great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandchild; sisters, Sharon Jones and Nancy Wheelen, both of Xenia, OH and Carol Davidson, Bowersville, OH; brothers, Harold Stoops, Adrian, GA, Carl Stoops, Wilmington, OH and Jim Stoops, Gurynville, OH; special friend and caregiver, Sheila Downs and family, Chillicothe and her friend and companion, Eugene Johnson, Chillicothe.  She was preceded in death by her parents, a daughter, Linda, a son, Robert, a stepson, David, 2 sisters and a brother.

Mary served as a nursing assistant for many years.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm on Thursday, Nov. 21, 2019 in the FAWCETT OLIVER GLASS AND PALMER FUNERAL HOME with Pastor Harold Wayne Gray, Jr. officiating.  Burial will follow in Overly Chapel Cemetery.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 12:00 noon until the hour of service on Thursday.  Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
