Mary Madonna Eleazer, 97, of Chillicothe, passed from this life on Wednesday, April 3, 2013 in Kindred Care of Logan, Logan, Ohio following an extended illness. She was born October 15, 1915 in Chillicothe, the daughter of Dominick and Melba (Poe) Gatto.
Surviving are her daughters, Melba L. Linn, Logan, Ohio and Claire Reaster, Chillicothe; 6 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren and several nieces. Her parents and sisters, Theresa A. Clark and Gevetta C. Caplinger preceded her in death.
Mrs. Eleazer was a caregiver for children and adults in the Chillicothe area for many years.
Graveside funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm Saturday, April 6, 2013 in Grandview Cemetery under the direction of the FAWCETT OLIVER GLASS AND PALMER FUNERAL HOME. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 11:30 am until 12:30 pm on Saturday. Memorial contributions may be made to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, P.O. Box 4527, New York, NY 10163.
