Mary L. Dumm

Mary Lora Dumm, 86, of Chillicothe, passed from this life early Friday morning, Feb. 22, 2008 in Adena Regional Medical Center following a brief illness. She was born Aug. 8, 1921 in Ross County, the daughter of the late Elmer and Rutha (Lester) Crow. She was married to George E. Dumm who preceded her in death Dec. 22, 1988. Surviving is a daughter, Rebecca H. Dumm, Louisville, TN, a sister-in-law, Mrs. Lee H. (Jean) Dumm, Jr., Chillicothe and a niece, Mrs. Penny A. (Lungo) Beaman, Gurnee, IL. Her sister, Mrs. Sena D. Jenkins preceded her in death. Mary was an employee of Mead Paper from March, 1946 to August, 1965. She was a member of Sunrush Church of Christ. Graveside services and interment in Floral Hills Memory Gardens will be held at 11:00 am Saturday, June 7, 2008 with Elder Davis Webb officiating. Calling hours will not be observed. The Fawcett Oliver Glass and Palmer Funeral Home is serving the family.
