Marvin L. Arbogast

Marvin L. Arbogast, 66, of Chillicothe, passed from this life early Saturday morning, Mar. 31, 2007 at his residence. He was born Jan. 31, 1941 in Uniontown, PA, the son of Pearl and Hazel (Butcher) Arbogast. On Oct. 28, 1967 he married Donna L. Imler who survives. Also surviving is his mother, of PA, sisters, Matilda Peters, VA and Deborah (James) Gabeletto, PA, brothers, Darley (Barbara) Arbogast, HI, George "Buddy" (Loretta) Arbogast, OH, Allen (Linda) Arbogast, PA, Garland (Ann) Arbogast, PA and Ellery "Joe" (Donna) Arbogast, PA, special nieces, Renee (Mike) Whiting and Melissa (Ben) Congrove, all of Chillicothe and Lisa (Kent) Bunting, Winchester, KY, special nephews, Ernie (Misty) Hall and Nathan (Tammy) Hall, all of Chillicothe and a host of great-nieces and great nephews. His father and a brother precede him in death. Mr. Arbogast was a Corrections Officer at C.C.I, retiring as Lieutenant in 1995 after 31 years of service. He was a US Air Force veteran, serving during the Vietnam Conflict, and was a member of the American Legion, VFW, AMVETS and the Kingston Kickers Dance Group. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Thursday, Apr. 5, 2007 in the Fawcett Oliver Glass and Palmer Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Floral Hills Memory Gardens with military rites by the Ross County Veterans Honor Guard. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 to 8 pm on Wednesday.
