Mark Vincent Hurley, 75, of Evergreen, Colorado, formerly of Chillicothe, died suddenly on Thursday, October 18, 2012 in Evergreen, his home for 42 years. Mark was born in Ross County on January 26, 1937 to the late William and Irene Hurley. He was preceded in death by his parents, his daughter, Kathleen, his sister, Doris Spetnagel and two brother, Harold and Basil.
Surviving are four children, Shawn, Katie, Will and Neil Hurley; six grandchildren; sisters, Regina Breiel, Chillicothe and Carol (George) Law, Encinitas, California; a brother, L. Keith Hurley, Coconut Creek, Florida and many nieces and nephews, including Diane (David) Muckler and Bill (Mary Lou) Spetnagel of Chillicothe.
Mark was a 1955 graduate of Chillicothe High School and received a BS degree from Ohio University. He served in the US Army Occupational Forces in Japan. He retired from Housing and Urban Development division of the Federal Government.
A Memorial Mass will be held on Friday, November 2, 2012 in Christ the King Catholic Church in Evergreen, Colorado. Burial will follow in Fort Logan National Cemetery in Denver Colorado. The FAWCETT OLIVER GLASS AND PALMER FUNERAL HOME is assisting the family.
