Marjorie E. Althouse, 46, of Chillicothe, passed from this life Thursday afternoon, May 15, 2008 at her residence following an extended illness. She was born July 10, 1961 in Chillicothe, the daughter of Ralph F. and Rita M. (Hollis) Althouse. Surviving are sisters, Laura (Jim) Lewis, with whom she lived, Gloria Donnells, Springfield, GA, Jennie (Mike) Gumm and Terri (Bob) Martin, both of Chillicothe and Rose (J.R.) Reed, Columbus, brothers, Gregg Althouse and Mike (Cecil) Althouse, both of Waverly and Dan (Janie) Althouse, Chillicothe, a host of nieces, nephews and cousins and special friends, Angie Bankston and Cass Stull. Her parents preceded her in death. Marjorie was a member of St. Peter's Catholic Church where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 am on Tuesday, May 20, 2008 with Fr. William Hahn, Celebrant. Following cremation, burial will be in St. Margaret's Cemetery at the discretion of the family. Friends may call at the Fawcett Oliver Glass and Palmer Funeral Home from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Monday. Memorial contributions may be made to the Hospice of Adena Health System.
