Marilyn Jane Robertson, 54, of Chillicothe, passed from this life on Saturday, July 20, 2013 in Adena Regional Medical Center following a brief illness. She was born June 1, 1959 in Chillicothe, the daughter of Elijah M. “Preach” and Virginia M. (Wogan) Kimbler. She was married to Charles E. “Tim” Robertson, who survives.
Also surviving are her step-children, Dusti (Bill) Gambill and Shane Robertson, all of Chillicothe; step-grandchildren, Danica and Drake Robertson; a sister, Evelyn (Wayne) Beard, Columbus; a brother, Glenn R. Kimbler, Richmond Dale; sisters-in-law, Ann Kimbler, Chillicothe, Jan Kimbler, TN, Marjorie Kimbler, Chillicothe and Virginia Kimbler, Richmond Dale; special nieces, Pamela D. (Mark) Nichols and Elaine (Rex) Newlan, all of Chillicothe and a host of other nieces, nephews, cousins, special friends and her church family. Her parents and brothers, John, Roy, Paul and Franklin preceded her in death.
Marilyn was an LPN at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center, retiring in 2010. She was a member of the Overly Chapel Church.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm Tuesday, July 23, 2013 in the FAWCETT OLIVER GLASS AND PALMER FUNERAL HOME with Pastor Wayne Beard officiating. Burial will follow in Little Mound Cemetery, Richmond Dale. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 11:00 am until the hour of service on Tuesday.
