Marilyn Jo Dresbach, 78, of Chillicothe, passed from this life Monday evening, July 16, 2007 at her residence following a brief illness. She was born Aug. 16, 1928 in Adelphi, the daughter of George Eldon Armstrong and Mabel Alice (Creachbaum) Armstrong. On Aug. 26, 1946 she married D. Philip Dresbach who preceded her in death Dec. 26, 2003. Surviving is a daughter and son-in-law, Pamela and Kenneth Dennewitz, London, OH, a son and daughter-in-law, David and Mary Lou Dresbach, Mendota Heights, MN, grandchildren, Douglas A. Dennewitz, Chad D. and wife, Nadine Dresbach and Andrew B. and wife Krista Dresbach, great grandchildren, Benjamin H. Dresbach and Joshua McGraw, a brother and sister-in-law, Thomas W. and Mary Lee Armstrong, Cincinnati, OH, a brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Harold G. and Frieda Dresbach, Chillicothe and several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Dresbach was an assistant manager with Sherwin-Williams in Chillicothe, retiring in 1985. She was a member of Walnut Street United Methodist Church and will be remembered as a beloved daughter, wife, mother and grandmother. A memorial service will be held at 10:30 am Thursday, Aug. 2, 2007 in the Walnut Street UM Church. Following the service, interment will be in Green Summit Cemetery, Adelphi. Calling hours will not be observed. The Fawcett Oliver Glass and Palmer Funeral Home is serving the family.
