Margie E. Brown

Margie Eileen Brown, 68, of Chillicothe, passed from this life Saturday afternoon, May 7, 2011 in the Adena Regional Medical Center following an extended illness. She was born March 29, 1943 in Alma, Ohio, the daughter of Josiah Pearson Edwards and Molly Belle (Clark) Edwards. On Oct. 11, 1958 she married Richard Carl Brown who preceded her in death Dec. 29, 2004. Surviving is a daughter, Debra Brown, a son and daughter-in-law, Richard and Darla Brown, a sister, Ada Rooker, a brother, Everett Edwards, all of Chillicothe, a host of nieces and nephews and her faithful canine companion, Brandy. She was one of 11 children and was preceded in death by her parents, 2 sisters and 6 brothers. Margie was a former employee of Sears. She was an award winning cook, enjoyed arts and crafts, politics and was an avid OSU and Bengals sports fan. She will be remembered as the greatest wife and mother. Private funeral services will be held at the discretion of the family. Calling hours will not be observed. The FAWCETT OLIVER GLASS AND PALMER FUNERAL HOME is serving the family.
