in Traditions of Chillicothe following a brief illness.
She was born

Frakes

KY
, the daughter of Frank and Doxie (Jones) Hamlin.
In 1947 she married Everett L. Newland who preceded her in death in 2000.
Surviving are her daughters, Vicki and husband, Roy Ellingsworth,
Elyria
,
OH
and Gloria and husband, Galen Reisinger,
Chillicothe
; her son, Mark Newland,
Chillicothe
; grandchildren, Lisa Miller and Mitzi Woodruff and 6 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and 11 sisters and brothers.
She was the last of a family of 12 children.
Mrs. Newland was a homemaker and enjoyed her family, her flower garden, crafts and shopping.
She attended Jefferson Avenue Church of Christ in Christian Union where funeral services will be held at
1:00 pm
on
Tuesday, Apr. 17, 2012
with Rev. Mark Clendaniel officiating.
