Mae R. Pebernat

Mae Rue Pebernat, 86, of Chillicothe, passed from this life on Tuesday evening, Apr. 7, 2009 in Adena Regional Medical Center following an extended illness. She was born Dec. 1, 1922 in Delaware, AR, the daughter of Luther L. and Mary E. (Farnam) Jones. Her first husband, Carl Robinett preceded her in death on Nov. 28, 1966. On Apr. 16, 1972 she married Harold L. Pebernat who survives. Also surviving is a son, Paul E. (Debbie) Robinett, Bainbridge, a step-son, David H. (Lynette) Pebernat, Woodland, TX, grandchildren, Danielle (Jared) Penrod, Daniel and Michelle Robinett, great-grandchildren, Trevor and McKenzie Penrod and sisters, Naomi (Joe) Russo, Longview, TX, Modine James, Bentonville, AR, Robbie (Darrell) Anderson and Geneva (Carl) Marshall, all of Little Rock, AR. Her parents, a sister and a brother preceded her in death. Mrs. Pebernat had been employed as a real estate sales agent. She was a member of the First Christian Church, Disciples of Christ. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm Saturday, Apr. 11, 2009 in the First Christian Church, 268 W. Water St. with Rev. Dr. Larry Miracle officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery, Frankfort. The family will receive friends at the church from 11:00 am until the hour of service on Saturday. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a charity of choice. The FAWCETT OLIVER GLASS AND PALMER FUNERAL HOME is serving the family.
