Madge A. Manson

Madge Arlene Manson, 90, of Chillicothe, passed from this life Monday afternoon, June 15, 209 in Traditions of Chillicothe following an extended illness. She was born Feb. 26, 1919 in Ross County, the daughter of Edward and Carrie (Emrich) Manson. Surviving are several nieces and nephews, including Sue Manson, Richard (Karen) Manson and Peggy (Terry) Allen, all of Chillicothe and several great nieces and nephews. Her parents and brothers, Forrest, Clarence, Lawrence, Orville and Norman Manson preceded her in death. Ms. Manson attended Centralia High School and during WW II was employed at the National Fireworks plant. She was a 35 year employee of Mead Corporation, retiring in 1982. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am Saturday, June 20, 2009 in the Fawcett Oliver Glass and Palmer Funeral Home with Rev. Jack Norman officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Friday.
