Lyda L. Satterfield, 68, of Chillicothe, passed from this life on Saturday afternoon, Jan 28, 2012 at her residence following an extended illness. She was born Dec. 22, 1943 in Columbus, OH, the daughter of Milburn Jack and Mary Ann (Watkins) Worthen. On Oct. 3, 1964 she married Haymer Satterfield who preceded her in death on Jan. 24, 1997. Surviving are her children, Angel (Dan) Neufarth, Waverly and Tom (Kim) Worthen, Chillicothe; grandchildren, Brooke (Randy) Ackley, Thomas (Candice) Worthen, Anna Marie Neufarth, Dalton Issac Neufarth and Coltan Daniel Neufarth; a great-granddaughter, Lorelai Camryn Ackley; a very close and special sister, Sandra (Paul) Rhodes, Waverly; a sister, Patricia Woods, Chillicothe; brothers, Thomas A Worthen, Gallipolis and Robert (Ruth Ann) Worthen, Oklahoma City, OK; and many nieces and nephews, including Stacie (Doug) Byrd and Paul Rhodes, Jr. Her parents, sisters, Jacqueline Wright and Bertha Murch and a brother, Jack Worthen preceded her in death. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 noon on Wednesday, Feb. 1, 2012 in the FAWCETT OLIVER GLASS AND PALMER FUNERAL HOME with Gary Doles officiating. Burial will follow in Denver Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00 to 8:00 pm on Tuesday.
