Lucille Hilsheimer, 91, of Chillicothe, passed from this life early Friday morning, Oct. 24, 2008 in Heartland of Chillicothe following an extended illness. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Tuesday, Oct. 28, 2008 in the Fawcett Oliver Glass and Palmer Funeral Home with Revs. Hayden Davis and Randy Rinehart officiating. Burial will follow in Grandview Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00 to 7:00 pm on Monday. Mrs. Hilsheimer was born Aug. 26, 1917 in Ross County, the daughter of the late Donald and Tobitha (Riehle) Rhinehart. On Nov. 9, 1938 she married Howard H. Hilsheimer who preceded her in death on June 7, 2008. Surviving is a daughter, Linda L. Hilsheimer, her extended family, Michele Stemple and Ronnie Kellough, a sister-in-law, Norma Rhinehart, a special niece, Donna Bellaw, all of Chillicothe and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, a daughter, Bonnie and a brother, Harry Rhinehart. She was a former employee of the Union Department Store and together, with her husband Howard, owned and operated the Hilsheimer Farms. She was a member of the Bishop Hill U.M. Church and the BPOE Ladies Auxiliary. Memorial contributions may be made to the Foundation of Adena Health System.
