Louise Burchett, 80 of Chillicothe, passed from this life on Saturday afternoon, January 6, 2007 at the home of her daughter, in Washington Court House, Ohio. She was born January 17, 1926 in Greenup County, Kentucky, the daughter of Samuel Kenton and Louisa (Potter) Grayson. On May 10, 1947 she married Paul Burchett who preceded her in death on February 6, 2004. Surviving are a daughter and son-in-law, Sherry L. (Burchett) and Larry Burns, of Washington Court House, Ohio; a son and daughter-in-law, David Paul and Joni Burchett of Garland Texas. Grandchildren Diana and Otis Noble of Washington Court House, Ohio; Deborah and Bradley Turner of Circleville, Ohio; Jonathon and Carrie Burns of Pt. Pleasant, West Virginia; Matthew and Holly Burchett of Nashville, Tennessee; Scott and Caroline Burchett of Plano, Texas and Brett Burchett of Garland, Texas. She was blessed with five great-grandchildren - Ryan and Caleb Noble, Emily Turner, and Ashley and Jonathon Burns along with nieces and nephews. Her parents, sisters Cora Arthur, Margaret Grayson and Pearl Arthur and brothers Darwin Grayson and Leo Grayson preceded her in death. Also preceding her in death were her two beloved grandchildren, Larry Dean Burns and Kathryn Alice Burchett. Mrs. Burchett had worked at the US Shoe Corporation in Chillicothe and had been a volunteer at the Adena Regional Medical Center. She was a member of Brookside Church in Chillicothe, Ohio and was attending In Faith Ministries in Washington Court House when her health allowed. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Tuesday, January 9, 2007 in the Fawcett Oliver Glass and Palmer Funeral Home with Rev. Larry Burns and Rev. Jack Norman officiating. Burial will follow in Floral Hills Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6:00 to 8:00 pm on Monday, January 8, 2007. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Fayette County.
