Lois E. Wolfe

Lois E. Wolfe, 90, of Chillicothe, passed from this life early Sunday morning, Jan. 10, 2010 in Westmoreland Place following an extended illness. She was born Sept. 4, 1919 in Bluffton, IN, the daughter of John and Bertha Inez (Martin) Monroe. She was married to Lawrence E. Wolfe who preceded her in death in 1965. Surviving are sons and daughters-in-law, Larry E. and Bonnie Wolfe and Leslie E. and Brenda Wolfe, all of Chillicothe, 7 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and 6 great-great-grandchildren. Her parents, a sister and a brother preceded her in death. Mrs. Wolfe enjoyed growing and working with flowers and plants. She was a devoted mother, and grandmother. Graveside funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm Thursday, Jan. 14, 2010 in Browns Chapel Cemetery with Rev. Mitch Salyers officiating. The family will receive friends at the Fawcett Oliver Glass and Palmer Funeral Home from 5:00 to 7:00 pm on Wednesday. Memorial contributions may be made to the Hospice of Adena Health System.
