Lloyd V. Prickett, 74, of
Chillicothe
, passed from this life on Saturday evening,
May 5, 2012
at his residence following an extended illness.
He was born
Sept. 22, 1937
in
Ross
County
and lived his entire life in the house he was born in.
On
May 3, 1959
he married Connie L. O’Day who survives.
Also surviving are his sons, Kevin V and wife, Janet Prickett,
Kingston
and Brian C. and wife, Tonya Prickett, Chillicothe; grandchildren, Katrina and husband, Tommy Borland, Abigail Prickett and Amanda Prickett; great-grandchildren, William and Addison Borland; sisters, Shirley Pence and Sharon Hedrick, both of Chillicothe; several nieces and nephews; special friends, Harold and Wanda True, Rick and Sharon Seymour, all of Chillicothe and all of the friends he made over the 42 years he served the Richmond Dale and Londonderry area with the telephone company.
His parents preceded him in death.
Mr. Prickett was an employee of the Chillicothe Telephone Company with 42 years of service, retiring in 2004.
He was a 1956 graduate of
Centralia
High School
.
He enjoyed NASCAR and supporting his grandchildren in their sports.
Funeral services will be held at
10:30 am

PALMER FUNERAL HOME with Rev. Richard Patmore officiating.
Burial will follow in
Greenlawn
Cemetery

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from
5:00
to
8:00 pm
on Wednesday.
