Linda G. (Masters) Seymour

Linda Gale Seymour, 70 of Chillicothe unexpectedly passed from this life on Thursday, Mar. 8, 2018 at her residence.  She was born Feb. 14, 1948 in Ronceverte, WV, the daughter of Ralph C. and Louise (Morgan) Masters, Sr.  On Aug. 11, 1962 she married Gordon E. “Gino” Seymour who preceded her in death on Sept. 25, 2017.

Surviving are her daughters, Jeanie (Ronnie) Benson and Nikki (Kevin) Ross, all of Chillicothe; grandchildren, Melinda, Marcus (Jessica), Sierra (Tyler), Adrian, Ashton and Jaxon; great-grandchildren, Mallorie, Liam, Makenzie, Macie and Lyndan; sisters, Nancy Chaffin and Cindy Doyle, both of Chillicothe and Wendy (Terry) Stevens, Londonderry;  brothers, Ralph (Mary) Masters, Jr., Londonderry, Johnny (Sue) Masters, Chillicothe, Elliott (Patsy) Masters, Frankfort and Jeff (Debbie) Masters, Peoria, IL; sister-in-law, Jeri (Jim) Burt, Trenton, OH and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.  She was preceded in death by her parents and a daughter, Melonie Seymour.

Linda was the manager of Gordon’s Carpet for many years.  In past years, she had been an active member of the First Freewill Baptist Church, and was devoted Christian who loved God.  Linda was an avid reader and enjoyed writing.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, Mar. 13, 2018 in the Jefferson Avenue Church of Christ in Christian Union with Pastors Mark Clendaniel and Tracy Chaffin officiating.  Burial will follow in Londonderry Cemetery.  The family will receive friends at the FAWCETT OLIVER GLASS AND PALMER FUNERAL HOME from 6:00 to 8:00 pm on Monday.
