Lewis Eugene Haubeil

Lewis Eugene Haubeil, 75 of Chillicothe, passed from this life on Friday, October 20, 2017 in Mt Carmel Medical Center, Columbus. He was born December 4, 1941 in Ross County, the son of Henry F. and Martha K. (Patterson) Haubeil. In 1983 he married Marian K. Shoemaker who survives.
Also surviving are daughters, Sharon (Jeff) Davis and Lisa and a special son-in-law, Gene Spencer, all of Chillicothe; son, Mark (Robin) Buskirk, Chillicothe; grandchildren, Heather Knaff, Brad Buskirk and Ashley Riley; great-grandchildren, Lucy Riley, Kayden Buskirk and Logan Knaff; sisters, Joyce (Ron) Cuckler and Ida Jean (Ron) Ballard, all of Waverly and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, a granddaughter, Katie Buskirk and brothers, Fred, George and Bob Haubeil.
Mr. Haubeil was retired from Haubeil and Sons Co. He was a U.S. Navy veteran and was a member of the American Legion and AMVETS. He will be remembered as a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather and a friend to many.
A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, October 25, 2017 in the FAWCETT OLIVER GLASS AND PALMER FUNERAL HOME with Rev. Rick Hartley officiating.
