Leta Faye Pritchard

Leta Faye Pritchard, 48, of Chillicothe, unexpectedly passed from this life early Thursday morning, May 14, 2009 at her residence. She was born Sept. 7, 1960 in Chillicothe, the daughter of Ermal L. and Betty (Tackett) Ramey. On Sept. 3, 1983 she married Danny A. Pritchard who survives. Also surviving is her mother, Betty Ramey, her son, Travis Michael Pritchard, a sister, Kaye (Michael L.) Poe, brothers, Gary Ramey, Tom (Francine) Ramey and Tim (Katherine) Ramey and a brother-in-law, Ernest L. Pritchard, all of Chillicothe, nieces and nephews, Carissa A. Badgley, Brandon Badgley, Jesse Ramey, Benjamin Ramey, Nathan Poe, Derrick Simpson, Greg Tackett, Eric Pritchard, Nicholas Pritchard and Drew Pritchard and many friends and co-workers. Her father and a sister, Brenda L. Badgley preceded her in death. She was a graduate of Ohio University and was the Public Relations Officer for Chillicothe Correctional Institute with 20 years of service. Leta had an adventurous spirit and enjoyed trying new things. She will be remembered as a loving and devoted wife, mother, sister and friend. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Thursday, May 21, 2009 in the Fawcett Oliver Glass and Palmer Funeral Home with Rev. Arlie Howard officiating. Burial will follow in Caldwell Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 4:00 to 8:00 pm on Wednesday.
