Leona J. (Vandermark) Daily

Leona J. Daily, 82 of Chillicothe passed from this life on Friday, April 30, 2021 at her residence following an extended illness.  She was born May 23, 1938 in Chillicothe, the daughter of Joseph and Ruth (Fultz) Vandermark.

Surviving is her son, Scott Daily and companion, Regina Dunn, Chillicothe; grandchildren, Shay (Mont) Steele, Jason (Shannon) Daily, Aaron (Holly) Daily, Justin Daily and Jessica Daily; and 9 great-grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her parents, her former husband, Wayne Daily, sons, Craig Daily, and David Daily and brothers, Fred Vandermark, and Gary Vandermark.

Mrs. Daily was a 1956 graduate of Unioto High School and was her class Valedictorian.  She was a retired bookkeeper and enjoyed genealogy.

Graveside funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, May 5, 2021 in Greenlawn Cemetery with her grandson, Jason Daily officiating.  In consideration of the family, social distancing and masks are requested. Calling hours will not be observed.  In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to National Church Residences.
