Lenora J. Caldwell, 91, of Chillicothe, passed from this life Wednesday evening, July 23, 2008 in the Adena Regional Medical Center following a brief illness. She was born Dec. 15, 1916 in Wapakoneta, Ohio, the daughter of James and Cecelia (Wagstaff) Billger. On June 26, 1937 she married James A. Caldwell who preceded her in death Sept. 11, 1989. Surviving are daughters, Cecelia and husband, David Pence and Mary Strouth, all of Chillicothe, and Koneta McDowell, Kingston, 4 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and a great-great grandchild. Her parents, 3 sisters and 8 brothers preceded her in death. Graveside funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm Saturday, July 26, 2008 in Greenlawn Cemetery with Rev. Bruce Viar officiating. Calling hours will not be observed. The Fawcett Oliver Glass and Palmer Funeral Home is serving the family.
