Larry Grant Arthur

Larry Grant Arthur, 65, of Chillicothe, passed from this life Monday morning, Sept. 13, 2010 in Adena Regional Medical Center following a brief illness. He was born Oct. 17, 1944 in Chillicothe, the son of Raymond G. and Cora Belle (Grayson) Arthur. Surviving are nieces, Tamara Beck, Chillicothe, Deborah Detty, Kingston, Julia (Scott) Houston, Chillicothe, a nephew, Sean Michael Arthur (Tracie Fiss), Las Angeles, CA, great nieces, Nicole, Sarah and Emma, great nephews, Nickolas, Noah and Jackson, a sister-in-law, Nancy I. Arthur, Chillicothe, cousins, Terry Arthur, Duane Grayson, Dave Burchett, Sherry Burns and Brenda Vickers and his beloved best friend, Conan. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Gary Arthur. Larry was a retired employee of Mead Paper. A veteran of the U.S. Army and the U.S. Air Force, he served during the Vietnam era. He was an avid car enthusiast. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 pm Thursday, Sept. 16, 2010 in the FAWCETT OLIVER GLASS AND PALMER FUNERAL HOME with Rev. Larry Burns officiating. Burial will follow in Floral Hills Memory Gardens with military graveside services by the Ross County Veterans Honor Guard. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 11:30 am until the hour of service on Thursday.
