Kirk Douglas Hartley

Kirk Douglas Hartley, 66, of Kingston, unexpectedly passed from this life on Friday December 12, 2025 in Grant Medical Center. He was born on September 19, 1959 in Circleville, the son of Orlando Franklin and Elizabeth Jean (Gillum) Hartley.

Surviving is his partner of 47 years, Ruth Congrove, a step-daughter, Sherry Congrove, a step-son, Tony Congrove, grandchildren, Rashauna (John) Beedy, and Makayla (Aaron) Gowen, great-grandchildren, Judson Beedy, Baylor Gowen, Addison Gowen, and Avery Beedy, sisters, Linda Nesser, Virginia Shaw, Dara Hartley, and Sheryl Coffey. He was preceded in death by his parents, siblings, Dan, Chris, Bruce and Franklin Hartley.

Kirk was a graduate of Logan Elm High School, and worked as a truck driver for 40 years. He enjoyed relaxing and watching tv, especially racing, but most of all he loved his family and will be greatly missed.

In keeping with his wishes, there will be no public services.
