Kenneth E. Evans

Kenneth E. Evans, 53, of Chillicothe, passed from this life early Monday morning, Dec. 22, 2008 at his residence following an extended illness. He was born Aug. 19, 1955 in Chillicothe, the son of Othel and Freda (Smith) Evans. On Sept. 19, 1980 he married Melinda Kay Bethel who survives. Also surviving are his mother-in-law and father-in-law, Shirley and Earl Bethel, Sr., daughters, Amy Kay Pool and her fiance, Willis Cottrill and Sarah Nicole and her husband, James Seymour, all of Chillicothe, grandchildren, Britton and Bryce Pool, Alexis and Andrew Bush, Megan Parrish, Billy James Seymour and Jack Walker Seymour and brothers, Sandy Evans, Henry (Tesna)( Evans, all of Chillicothe, Randy Evans, Breman, OH and Terry (Mercy) Evans, SC. His parents, a grandchild and 2 brothers preceded him in death. Mr. Evans was an employee of Adena Health System with 18 years of service. In 2007 he was ordained as a minister and served the Schaffer Rd. Christian Church where he was a member. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Friday, Dec. 26, 2008 in the Fawcett Oliver Glass and Palmer Funeral Home with Rev. Bob Haddox officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 12:00 pm until the hour of service on Friday. Following cremation, disposition will be at the discretion of the family.
