Katherine White

Katherine White, 78, of Chillicothe, Ohio passed away on July 13, 2026 following an extended illness. She was born on March 27, 1948 in Desloge, Missouri, the daughter of the late Andrew and Ana (Pasternak) Komar. On September 25, 1993, she married Thomas Elliott White, who preceded her in death on September 22, 2020. Together they shared nearly 27 wonderful years of marriage. She was also preceded in death by her brothers, Mike Komar and John Komar, and sister-in-law, Jackie Komar, of Ironton, Missouri.

She is survived by her daughter Shari (Scott) Crisan (husband Gratian) of Austin, Texas, brother Andrew Komar (wife Jeannie) of Moberly, Missouri, sister-in-law Nancy Komar of Ironton, Missouri, several nieces and nephews, as well as other relatives and friends.

Kathy was a retired registered nurse and member of Walnut Street Methodist Church.

In accordance with her wishes, she will be cremated. Interment at Grandview Cemetery will occur at a later date. An online memorial is available at www.fawcett-palmer.com.
