Karen Lynn Baker

Karen Lynn Baker, 66, of Chillicothe, unexpectedly passed from this life on Thursday, June 23, 2022 at her residence.  She was born on February 20, 1956 in Chillicothe, the daughter of Gene Baker and Sharon (Haley) Baker.

Surviving is her mother; Sharon Merchant, Chillicothe, siblings; Michael Scott Baker, Chillicothe, Christopher (Desili) Baker, Batavia, and Julie (John) Gabriel, Cincinnati, nieces and nephews; Ashley, Nikki, Samantha, Kylie, Will, and Kate, great-nephew; Benny, best friend and care taker; Mary Rusk, and her beloved cat; Mr. Tibbs. She was preceded in death by her grandmother; Louise Haley, and her uncle; Tom Haley.

Karen was a graduate of Unioto High School, and had attended Ohio University.  She was employed by Dairyland and Safeco Insurance Companies, as an insurance adjuster.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to the best nurses; April and Kayleigh, and her aide Chris, for their exceptional care of Karen.

A Graveside Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday June 30, 2022 in Greenlawn Cemetery with Pastor Ryan Bevan, officiating.  Calling hours will not be observed.  The FAWCETT OLIVER GLASS AND PALMER FUNERAL HOME is honored to serve the family.
