Judith I. Smith, 67, of Chillicothe, passed from this life Wednesday evening, Oct. 31, 2007 at her residence following an extended illness. She was born July 17, 1940 in Ross County, the daughter of Ray A. and Anna B. (Hiles) Anders. On June 7, 1977 she married David E. Smith who preceded her in death Mar. 10, 1984. Surviving is a daughter and son-in-law, Vickey and Gary Ramsey, a daughter, Anna B. Carroll, all of Chillicothe, a daughter, Deborah J. Vulgamore and her fiance, Steve Davis, Leesburg, OH, a son and daughter-in-law, Jack E. and Jana Carroll, Chillicothe, 6 grandchildren, a great-grandchild, a sister, Joan Hedrick, Kingston and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins. Her parents, 5 sisters and a brother preceded her in death. Mrs. Smith was a homemaker and enjoyed crocheting and her 5 dogs. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 am Saturday, Nov. 3, 2007 in the Fawcett Oliver Glass and Palmer Funeral Home with Rev. Larry Ault officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6:00 to 8:00 pm on Friday.
