Judith M. Delong

Judith M. DeLong, 87, of Chillicothe, passed from this life Friday morning, Apr. 24, 2009 in Westmoreland Place following an extended illness. She was born Mar. 20, 1922 in Chillicothe, the daughter of George W. and Lucy (Senff) Cryder. On Sept. 12, 1945 she married Robert I. DeLong who preceded her in death Oct. 25, 1983. Surviving are nieces and nephews, Connie (Jim) Compton, Jackson, OH, Richard (Barbara) Seeling, Chillicothe, Charles G. Seeling, Chillicothe, Ginny (Bob) Gregory, Columbus, OH, Thom (Mary) DeLong, Columbus, OH, Donna (Steve) Voshing, Columbus, OH, Margene (Brian) McLaughlin, Mt. Gilead, OH, Steve (Patty) DeLong, MI and Jerry (Jane) Frost, TX, a sister-in-law, Dorothy DeLong, Columbus, Oh and a host of great and great-great nieces and nephews. Her parents and a sister, Evelyn Seeling preceded her in death. Mrs. DeLong was a retired office manager for U.S. Shoe Corporation in Chillicothe. She was a member of the Church Triumphant. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Tuesday, Apr. 28, 2009 in the FAWCETT OLIVER GLASS AND PALMER FUNERAL HOME with Rev. Aaron Hines officiating. Burial will follow in Salem White Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00 to 8:00 pm on Monday.
