Judith Ann Althouse

Judith Ann Althouse, 73, of Chillicothe, unexpectedly passed from this life on Saturday June 25, 2022 in Adena Regional Medical Center.  She was born May 7, 1949 in Chillicothe, the daughter of the late Clarence A. Sr, and Marilyn Toohey Jenkins.  On June 7, 1968 she married Terry Althouse who survives.

Also surviving is her daughter; Patricia (Jeff) Tackett, sons; Michael Althouse (Bobbi Leeson), and Fredrick Althouse (fiancé, Kristi Greathouse), all of Chillicothe, grandchildren; Ashley, Tyler, Tristan, Harley ,Kailee, and Paige, 10 great-grandchildren,  sister; Frances Detty, Chillicothe, brothers; Ronald (Rosella) Jenkins, Chillicothe, and Clarence Allen Jenkins, Londonderry, brother-in-law; Dana Thornton, and many nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her step-father; James Hafner, daughter-in-law; Kandi Althouse, and sisters; Carol Louise Jenkins, Janet L. Jenkins, Diana Thornton, and Rebecca Jenkins.

Judy worked as a waitress for the OK Truck Stop, and as a bartender for the Moose Lodge.  She was a member of the Women of the Moose #2044 and the American Legion Post #757 Auxiliary.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday July 1, 2022 in the FAWCETT OLIVER GLASS AND PALMER FUNERAL HOME with Minister Paul Minney, officiating.  Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 11:00 a.m. until the hour of service on Friday.  Memorial contributions may be made to the funeral home to assist the family.  An online memorial is available at www.fawcett-palmer.com.  The Fawcett Oliver Glass and Palmer Funeral Home is honored to serve the family.
