Joyce E. (Dunfee) Toole

Joyce E. Toole, 85, of Chillicothe, passed from this life on Saturday, February 15, 2025 in National Church Residences.  She was born on September 13, 1939 in Chillicothe, the daughter of Paul and Alta (McFerrin) Dunfee.  On February 15, 1964, she married Walter L. Toole, who preceded her in death on August 25, 2011.

Surviving is her daughter, Natalie A. (Shane) Malone, Galena, OH; grandchildren, Alyssa and Christian Malone, and many friends, including close friend, Vickie Streicher.  She was preceded in death by her parents.

Joyce was a member of the Acts Believe Church, and for many years worked as a sales associate for Candlelight Bridal.  Joyce loved shopping and going out to eat with her friends, and enjoyed collecting various items.  Most of all she loved spoiling her grandchildren.

The family will receive friends at the FAWCETT OLIVER GLASS AND PALMER FUNERAL HOME on Friday, February 21, 2025 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.  There will be no funeral service.  A Graveside Service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday May 29, 2025 in Greenlawn Cemetery.  An online memorial is available at www.fawcett-palmer.com.
