Joseph Aaron Manuel, 28, of Chillicothe, passed from this life on Saturday, December 15, 2012 in the OSU Medical Center, Columbus following a brief illness. He was born February 7, 1984 to Carolyn Stanhope and Donald E. Manuel, Jr.
He is survived by his father; his mother and her fiancé (step-father), Chris Davis; grandparents, John and wife, Beverly Stanhope, sisters, Deborah (Brad) Hill, Ray and Nicole Manuel, Chillicothe; nephews, Aiden Lane and Lewis Thomas IV; nieces, Lexis Thomas and one to be born in January, 2013 and many aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Francis Stanhope, his paternal grandparents, his aunt, Deborah Stanhope North and his uncle, Perry Manuel.
Special thanks to his aunt, Jackie Christie for the support to his mother during Joseph’s last days. Joseph had a contagious smile and laugh that captivated the hearts of everyone who met him.
Graveside funeral services will be held at 11:30 am Friday, December 21, 2012 in Mt. Carmel Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the FAWCETT OLIVER GLASS AND PALMER FUNERAL HOME from 10:00 am to 11:00 am on Friday.
