John F. Jones

John F. Jones, 69, of Chillicothe, passed from this life on Thursday morning, August 7, 2014 in the Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Cincinnati, following a brief illness.  He was born February 15, 1945 in Chillicothe. His wife, Constance L. (Compher) Jones, survives.

Mr. Jones was a U.S. Army veteran, serving in Vietnam.

Graveside funeral services will be held at 1:30 pm Tuesday, August 12, 2014 in Soldiers Square, Greenlawn Cemetery with Pastor Mel Smith officiating.  Military honors will be by the Ross County Veterans Honor Guard.  The family will receive friends at the FAWCETT OLIVER GLASS AND PALMER FUNERAL HOME from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm the day of the service.
