Jody Wayne Gragg, 50, of Chillicothe, passed from this life Wednesday evening, May 25, 2011, at his residence, following an extended illness. He was born Sept. 24, 1960, in Ross County. On June 1, 1979, he married Kathleen M. Hamilton, who survives. Also surviving is his mother, Judy Stewart, Bournville, daughters; Chasity Gragg, Tonya Gragg, and Heather (Justin) VanGundy, all of Chillicothe, a grandchild; Maya McCoy, sisters; Suzette (Joe) Mendenhall, Chillicothe, Melissa Stewart, Hamilton, OH, and Christina Stewart, Frankfort, brothers; Max (Sharon) Stewart, Washington C.H., and Charlie Stewart, Columbus, and many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Bill and Ruby Gragg. Mr. Gragg was an employee of Ram Machine for 17 years. At Jody's request there will be no formal services or calling hours. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 28, 2011 at the residence beginning at 4:00 pm. The FAWCETT OLIVER GLASS AND PALMER FUNERAL HOME is serving the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
